It’s always a privilege to return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a nation at the forefront of redefining sports and innovation, and to participate in the World Football Summit Asia at the breathtaking KAFD Convention Center in Riyadh.

The transformation within KSA’s sports ecosystem is not only a testament to the country’s commitment to global excellence but also a reflection of its dedication to building a legacy for its people. Witnessing the visionary plans for the FIFA World Cup 2034 bid was awe-inspiring. These aren’t just preparations for a global tournament—they are the foundation for creating cities and urban environments that will serve the Saudi people for generations to come.
By building sustainable, future-ready urban ecosystems that blend state-of-the-art infrastructure with cultural pride, it guarantees that every project enhances quality of life and provides lasting value.
This bold and inclusive approach to development ensures that the legacy of 2034 will extend far beyond the tournament, setting a benchmark for how sports can inspire progress across all aspects of life.

Speaking on “The Future of AI in Sport” alongside Lucas Bugter, Ben H., Luis Vicente, and Zubair Timol was an inspiring opportunity to delve into how artificial intelligence is reshaping our industry—from finance to performance and fan engagement. The engagement and curiosity from the audience reaffirmed the importance of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in football and sports as a whole.

A heartfelt thank you to the World Football Summit team led by Jan Alessie and Marian Otamendi for curating such an incredible platform for connection, collaboration, and forward-thinking dialogue. Your efforts continue to make WFS the epicenter of transformative conversations in our industry.
